Remove and Fill Gap: Choosing this option will remove the selected part of the video and fill the gap by synchronizing the next part to it.Remove and Leave Gap: Choosing this option will remove the selected part of the video and leave the gap as it is.It will display three options along with their shortcuts. Select the part that you want to cut or remove and click on the bin icon.
You can notice that the video got split into three parts. Then further drag the play head to the point where the second split point should occur this will cover that length of the video which we need to cut. Once the video is on your timeline then drag the play head to the point where you want to apply split and then click on the ‘ Split timeline’ tool present above your timeline as you can see in the image below.
